bummer

I was supposed to go home today and go hunting, but I woke up this morning at 8:00 when my alarm went off and thought I was going to be sick, so I rolled back over and fell asleep. I think I'm pregnant. I have this obnoxious morning sickness where I have a terrible headache, I feel like I'm going to throw up, and I am dizzy. It usually goes away by noon or 1:00, though. It has been very hard to get to my morning classes this week. I made it Monday and Friday. Thank goodness most of my classes are in the afternoon. I am very dissappointed about not getting to go hunting, though. And I had a terrible dream last night with crazy monkeys and weirdly shaped bananas. It kinda frieaked me out, cause I couldn't stop them. So I got up just in time for breakfast, and now I'm back after talking to Beth Strasser. I went to the PeerEd retreat/training yesterday. It was about what I expected, actually. It was a lot of stuff that I already know (child care worker training, psychology, communication), but there was some good info, too. For someone who didn't have all of my background, it could have been quite helpful. As it is, I took the test, and now I have to send it in so that I will get my official certificate as a CPE (certified peer educator). We're supposed to get business cards and everything(?). Whatever. I am going to go take a shower and do my laundry, cause I have a lot of laundry and I think I stink. Maybe I will take the garbage out, too. Yeah, that's it.

Peace.

Walmart

Okay, so Wal-Mart is my re-newed favorite store. Why you ask? Well, I will tell you. It all started a long time ago, but we will skip that part ;-P. Fast-forward up to last night. I am helping Kila out, carrying television sets and such from the student center down to Murphy lounge to set up for "Twist & Shout", which ends up being Twister with singing. Kila asked me to set up the TV with the karioke (?) machine, and of course, the TV didn't have RCA inputs. Well, I went ot my room and got that switchbox I have, that allows for inputs of S-video, RCA, and cable, and it has a co-ax output. So I connected everything together, and it didn't work! Luckily, Kila had a similar device, so I used hers. This led to my visit to Wal-Mart. I went down and told the lady I needed to exchange the device. She told me to get a new one, and I went back and picked up a new one and a phone charger for my cell phone as well. I took them both back up to the customer service desk, checked out, and the lady gave me $2.53 or something like that back! I have no idea how or why, but I'm happy!

*sigh*
I've been thinking about stuff. Lots of stuff. Deep stuff. Stuff that I haven't thought about in a long time, if ever. Love, friends, relationships, vocations, vacations, school, notschool, work, notwork, life, death... you know, just the regular stuff. *sigh*

China is stupid. They are starting to build "stress rooms" where frustrated students can go and beat the sandbag walls. Stupid. It doesn't help. Anyone who knows anything about stress and physical agression knows that taking out your anger or frustration physically doesn't help long-term. Did you know that women typically get over relationship breakups and things like that faster than men do? It appears that men get over them faster and aren't affected as much, but that is becasue they internalize their emotions. Women, on the other hand, talk about it with their friends, process, and get over it. Whoda Thunkit?

Well, I decided since I actually forgot about this blog after creating it, that possibly I should post in it since I have found it again. Being that it is Tuesday, my day typically starts with breakfast (hopefully) and then Aesthetics class at 10 a.m. Well, it just so happens that when my alarm went off at 9:15 this morning, I says to meself, "well, shit. I'm way too tired, I had a stressful day yesterday, I got off my lazy ass and ran yesterday for the first time since XC season got over with, so I need a couple extry hours o' sleep, especially since I'm gonna play Twister tonight." Well, I just re-read that, and wow, does it sound lazy! But, be that as it may, I hit the off button and decided to get up when I woke up. Which was like 2 minutes ago. Ummmmmmmm, I feel much better. So now I'm going to get some brunch and head off to the dreaded statistics class, which is definitely in the dungeon. Coincidence? I don't think so. We spent the ENTIRE CLASS PERIOD last class working on ONE PROBLEM!!! Yeah. You know it's bad when the professor, who talks way too fast anyway, goes "hey, well we finished the whole problem, that's pretty good!" considering we only had AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES IN WHICH TO DO IT!!! Sheesh. I actually like the guy, but not the class. I'm just going to try and NOT fail it. Wish me luck.

Peace out
